Iron Mine Contracting (IMC) was formed to provide Civil, Mining, Crushing and Screening and Indigenous partnering opportunities to the West Australian market.

IMC and its associated indigenous Joint Venture partners have been delivering projects to Tier 1 Resource clients including Rio Tinto, Woodside Petroleum, Northern Star Resources FMG, Roy Hill, Novo Resources, Liontown Resources, Saracen Minerals and Newcrest Mining amongst others since 2013.

With extensive experience working for clients in remote areas and a deep body of knowledge gained from its diverse multidisciplinary team, IMC understands the specific challenges that constructing and delivering for its Western Australian clients presents.

A rare opportunity is available for a
**Hire Plant Coordinator** to commence on a permanent full-time basis within the Plant Department in our corporate head office located in Baywater.

Reporting to the Asset Superintendent, the Hire Plant Coordinator is responsible for delivering liaison and support to Project Managers to identify plant and equipment needs. This entails a variety of responsibilities including Sourcing internal/external gear to the project plant list, review of rates/conditions for plant and equipment hire including arranging and reviewing hire contracts.

Importantly this role is pivotal in customer facing, ensuring professional and solution focused communication with site, external suppliers and both internal and external stakeholders.

**Key Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Liaise with Project Manager's to identify plant and equipment needs.
- Organise on hire inspections and site specifications.
- Arranging and reviewing hire contracts.
- Liaise with site and external suppliers re: breakdowns. notifications.
- Raise POs as required.
- Sourcing internal/external gear to the project plant list.
- Review of rates/conditions for plant and equipment hire.

**About you**:

- Demonstrated prior experience in a similar role within a contractor project environment in the civil, mining, or related industry.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to be resourceful
- Demonstrated time management and attention to detail, including problem-solving skills to manage concurrent and changing priorities.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Proficiency in Pronto would be an advantage.
- Current driver’s licence.
- Ability to complete full pre-employment medical including drug screen.
- Provide a current police clearance.
