Female Support Worker for a Motivated Quadriplegic

Female support worker required to assist a motivated quadriplegic male in our comfortable well-equipped home in a pleasant area of Gosnells on the banks of the Canning River.

- Up to 5 morning shifts per week.
- Shifts commence at 7:00am and vary from 1.75 hours up to 2.5 hours.
- Minimum pay for a shift is 2 hours.
- A minimum wage of $37.14 per hour, reviewed at least annually.
- Casual employment.
- Insurances are in place, and everything is legal and above board.

**Your Role**:

- Transferring me in and out of bed, wheelchairs, using a hoist.
- Showering, dressing, and grooming.
- Personal care, including toileting, bladder, and bowel management.
- Basic wound care.
- Domestic support such as meal preparation and light household duties.

**About You**:

- You are competent in English.
- You have a friendly, personable, and empathetic nature.
- You are punctual, reliable, committed, and efficient.
- You are clean and hygienic.
- You are physically fit, capable of lifting, bending, and carrying.

**You will Have**:

- Experience in working with a spinal cord injury is desirable, but not essential.
- A valid NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Reliable transport (car, bike, walk).
- A smartphone device.
- Available for casual employment
