We are an industry leader in the mining and civil earthmoving industries with over 50 years’ experience and operate a large fleet of heavy earthmoving equipment across Australia. We take pride in our people, our safety culture and maintaining our equipment to a high standard.
We are seeking a highly experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Blackwater Workshop. This is an exciting opportunity to play an integral role in Mackellar future success and will require someone who can not only manage this site but work closely with our projects to ensure business needs are met and projects continue to succeed.
Becoming a valued manager of the Maintenance Leadership Team, you will build and lead a highly skilled and productive team that ensures targets are met or exceeded. Your focus will be on continuous improvement of the safe and cost-effective maintenance of all equipment, as well as working with our Project Managers and management team to deliver operational outcomes. Bringing with you experience in working for a mining contractor, you will understand how effectively manage team and prioritise work, so deadlines are met across all our projects.
This role will be a 5/2/4/3 roster, located in Blackwater.
Applicants must have:
- Trade certificate in Plant Mechanics or equivalent as well as at least 10 years of previous experience and demonstrated success within a similar role
- Previous experience in building and maintaining high performing maintenance teams
- Experience using JDE highly regarded
- Queensland driver licence
We are looking for someone who leads by example, can effectively manage large maintenance for a large fleet of equipment, and can build and lead a strong performing team. Only those with the relevant experience and qualifications will be considered.
