Anaesthetics Consultant

About the role
Multiple Permanent and Temporary opportunities to To provide professional expertise and services as required for the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital and Metro North Hospital and Health Service through the Department of Anaesthesia and Peri-operative Medicine in the areas of clinical anaesthesia, teaching, research and quality. There is a requirement to provide out of hours on call duty and overtime as appropriate. The development of special interest areas is to be encouraged.
About you
- Comply with and utilise procedures, policies, regulations and standards which impact upon the position, including contemporary human resource management requirements and practices, such as workplace health and safety, equal employment opportunity and anti-discrimination policies.
- Operate as professionally responsible to the Director of Anaesthesia and Peri-operative Medicine. Provide ethical decision making in the achievement of organisational goals.
- Currency in clinical anaesthesia for immediate service provision to backfill temporary vacancies
- Provide specialist anaesthetic, analgesic and related services for patients undergoing elective
