**About the role**:
This role is responsible for designing, describing and implementing technology solutions in the security and network space. To provide SME expertise to design solutions to protect Uniting's network and security assets, data intellectual property, and its operations.

Working within Uniting's Cyber security program to securing public cloud, private on premises workloads and the networks relied upon.

You will lead the methodologies, drive better practices and collaborate across service delivery teams to design, introduce, champion and transition new security and network capabilities required across the enterprise.

As an expert communicator, you will work with stakeholders to synthesise concepts, requirements and technology into documented solutions.

You will partner with key roles -Project Managers and Business Analysts etc. to create solutions that are aligned to the architecture standards and principles, leverage common solutions and services to meet the financial targets(cost and benefits)

**Qualifications, skills and experience**

Typically this role will require 8 or more years' experience
- Bachelor qualification in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- NIST and/or ISO27000 certification (preferred)
- Certified Certification (Foundation)in ITIL
- Demonstrated knowledge of industry cyber security standards and frameworks
- Experience in designing and implementing technical solutions that effectively adhere to standards
- Employ proficiency in ITIL strategy, Network and platform components, Active Directory and security protocols
- Agile project management methodologies
- Experience in the development of technology options, assessments and comparisons, including aspects of technology alignment to existing systems and standards, hosting, security and usability considerations
- **Current Drivers License as some on-site travel may be required**

**Even better**:

- Experience in Enterprise Hybrid Cloud security and access solutions - Microsoft Azure platforms
- Technology consulting experience
