**The Opportunity**
We are looking for our next Delivery & Transport Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day activities related to local deliveries and third-party freight function at their warehouse location. This role manages the outbound distribution and collection of returns of all items related to ACM Parts to ensure that all customers receive orders and collections in a timely and efficient manner.
**You will be responsible for**
- Leading and supervising the distribution and collection of all ACM related items.
- Managing day to day operation of dispatching and collection of items.
- Ensuring goods are dispatched on time to the appropriate sites and in the expected quantities.
- Maintaining accuracy of deliveries and collections by conducting daily checks of items scheduled for delivery and collection.
- Identify areas for continuous improvement and share best practices implementation.
- Identifying and implementing local fleet efficiencies to achieve high levels of customer service in the most cost-effective way while reducing requirement for overtime.
- Ensuring quality inspections and maintenance of internal vehicle fleet.
- Ensuring the workplace environment is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and always complies with company and legislative standards.
- Work closely with the warehouse team to ensure adequate parts protection is in place across each touchpoint to limit damage.
- Achieve delivery KPI targets.
- Manage and support incident reporting, investigations and corrective actions.
- Manage route optimization and delivery consolidation via all available tools.
- Monitor, evaluate and adjust delivery routes based on daily needs, team member availability and traffic disruptions.
- Previous experience managing a team
- Intermediate computer skills: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), other web-based programs.
- Well-developed interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to priorities, take initiative, solve problems and act with a sense of urgency.
- Able to work efficiently both in a team environment and independently and to required timeframes.
- Able to professionally represent the organization.
- Professional experience in transportation.
- LF license preferred.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle parts and consumables.
