**About The Role**

We are currently looking for a Logistics Supervisor based at our Somerton LPG Terminal. Reporting to the Terminal & Logistics Manager this position would suit a current driver trainer looking to take the next step in their career, or an experienced transport supervisor.

Your day-to-day:

- Lead and be accountable for a small team of LPG delivery drivers and trucks across Southern Victoria
- Resource and train our drivers to deliver exceptional service to Origin LPG customers
- Conduct daily start up meetings, weekly toolbox meetings & team engagement activities.
Deliver training programs to current and new drivers to evaluate knowledge and competency.
- Driver performance management & labour planning to meet customer demand.
- Resolution of delivery issues and fostering strong relationships with all stakeholders.
- Scheduling of vehicle maintenance and promoting a high standard of vehicle presentation.
- Action issues reported through driver site reports and vehicle defect books.
- Conduct site inspections, on road driver evaluations.
- Investigate HSE incidents and provide meaningful corrective actions.

**Is this you?**

Here’s what we’re looking for:

- 2 years’ experience as a Driver Trainer or significant experience as a driver
- Heavy Rigid Licence is essential for success
- Dangerous Goods licence (or willing to obtain)
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or willing to obtain)
- Have held supervisory positions accountable for the outlined key responsibilities
- Energetic, can take initiative and work unsupervised
- Have intermediate MS Office skills. (Excel, Power Point)
- Experience in using business systems such as TMS, SAP, etc
- Previous gas industry experience advantageous but not essential
- Available to travel occasionally as required
