**Male Community Support Worker (Farsi Speaking Required)**

**Location**: Auburn
**Employment Type**: Casual / Ongoing
**Shifts**:

- Monday to Friday: 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM
- Saturday & Sunday: 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM

**About the Client**

We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and **Farsi-speaking** **male support worker** to join our team in supporting a young person living with **Cerebral Palsy**, who is **non-verbal, wheelchair-bound**, and experiences **anxiety**. The client requires assistance with mobility (uses a wheelchair but walks short distances with support) and benefits from calm, consistent, and patient care.

The client’s **family plays an integral role** in their daily support, and **do not speak English** - **Farsi fluency is essential** to communicate effectively with them and provide the highest quality care.

**To be considered for this role, you MUST**:

- Be **male** - required due to client care needs
- **Fluently speak Farsi** (non-negotiable requirement)
- Have experience supporting individuals with physical and complex needs
- Be available for **any listed shifts** (consistency is key)
- Hold a valid Australian Driver’s Licence and have access to a reliable vehicle
- Have or be willing to obtain:

- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working With Children Check (if required)
- First Aid & CPR Certification
- Manual Handling training (or willingness to complete)

**Duties include**:

- Personal care, mobility and transfers
- Assistance with daily routines and community access
- Emotional support and companionship
- Communication and collaboration with the client’s Farsi-speaking family
- Ensuring safety, dignity, and respect at all times
