We have embraced hybrid working in all our locations; our employees have the option to work from home, an office or a blend between the two.
**Job Description**:
We’re looking to turbo-charge our payments business We’re incredibly proud of what we’ve built at Ignition - wrapping unique and innovative software around payments - and we’re now on the hunt for an engaging, passionate, critical thinker and problem solver to lead our payments initiatives. We’re currently processing $1Bn+ in payments via hundreds of thousands of end clients and there’s an incredible opportunity to expand and develop our global offering across our existing client base and to play a pivotal role in what we do next.
**About the payments team**
Our payments team is a dedicated, cross functional (product management, engineering, design and customer experience) team focused on building and supporting our payments infrastructure, developing innovative payment and software solutions to drive payments volume and revenue growth, and building internal tooling and processes to assist with fraud and risk mitigation.
**About the role**

You’re a builder, a problem solver, an innovator with a strong and proven commercial approach and mindset. In this role you will collaborate closely both with the direct product group (product design, engineering and product management) and your partners in Marketing, Customer Experience, Fraud/Risk, and Finance.
You will lead payments for Ignition in a way that will accelerate payment adoption and drive commercial outcomes. You will be responsible for the vision, strategy and execution of significant product initiatives that will ensure our customers get the most value out of our payments platform.
**In this role, you will**:

- Work with our cross functional leaders to develop payment dashboards illustrating key value drivers and insights, and work across teams to improve performance across these drivers.
- Manage payment vendor relations, including our global Stripe partnership, and identify new revenue-generating opportunities.
- Develop cross functional relationships and project manage company-wide payments initiatives
- Partner with the senior product manager and engineering lead to prioritize product enhancements and infrastructure improvements.
- Develop new ways payments can be a differentiator for Ignition.
- Oversee continuous competitive research to ensure Ignition’s product and pricing are continuously ahead of the competition in both capability, profitability and ease of use.
