**2026 Peabody Energy Graduate Program**
Kickstart your career with a global company invested in you Peabody is offering opportunities to individuals who will graduate from their degree in 2026 or have graduated in the past 2 years.
Peabody’s two-year Graduate program will see you working on site as part of our technical teams gaining exposure on how to deliver world class best practice mining. If you are successful you will experience a structured learning and development program designed to develop technical and practical skills whilst your gain on the ground hands on experience in the mining industry with an international mining company.
You will not only have access to senior business leaders, exposure to leading systems and mining process but also development opportunities to advance your skills within your profession. Joining the Peabody graduate program will provide you with the skills you require to further develop your career in one of Australia’s largest and critical industries.
**Locations**:
- Wilpinjong (NSW) - Our Wilpinjong mine is an open-cut mine located 58 kilometres northeast of Mudgee.
- Metropolitan (NSW)
- Our Metropolitan mine is an underground coal mining operation located 30 kilometres north of Wollongong in Helensburgh.
- Coppabella/Moorvale (QLD) - Our Coppabella Moorvale mine complex consists of three (3) open-cut mine operations located approximately 140 kilometres southwest of Mackay.
- Centurion (QLD) - Our Centurion mine is an underground coal mine, located 160 kilometres west of Mackay.
Relocation assistance available for eligible graduates.
**Program Overview**:
- Initial orientation program in Brisbane
- 2 x 12-month rotational assignments
- Permanent placements upon commencement
- Career planning and exposure to senior business leaders
- Business Events
- Social Activities
**To qualify for the Peabody Energy Graduate Program, you must**:
- Have a degree or post graduate degree (Honours or Masters) in relevant disciplines
- Have completed your degree within the last 2 years or are due to graduate by January 2026.
- Be a team player with strong leadership potential.
- Have strong communication & interpersonal skills
- Want to work at a mine site
