**Financial Analyst - 12 Month Fixed Term Contract**

**What can you expect?**

An exciting opportunity has become available for an enthusiastic Financial Analyst to join our Finance team at Marsh McLennan on a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract. In this role you will support our Mercer Pacific business and work with all business units to design, develop and implement reports and dashboards used to drive key business decisions.

This position can be based out of any of our Australian office locations.

**We will count on you to**:

- Use latest business intelligence tools like Power BI and Tableau to design, develop and implement reports and dashboards used to drive key business decisions
- Build various data visualizations to tell the story of business trends, patterns, and outliers through rich visualizations
- Prepare revenue and expense trackers
- Create, maintain and improve existing dashboards and reporting
- Automate, standardize and implement process improvements
- Assist with month end close process, reporting, data analysis and commentary
- Assist with forecasts, budgets and strategy planning

**What we would like you to have**:

- Degree in Commerce, Accounting or equivalent
- Management Accounting experience
- Advanced Excel skills including ability to analyse and interpret data
- Strong Power BI skills
- Experience with financial modelling
- Confident communication skills and enjoys partnering with the business
- Not afraid to challenge the status quo and challenge the business where appropriate
- Proven track record in ability to manage multiple tasks, deal with competing priorities, work under pressure, assume responsibilities and deliver according to timetable
- Experience working in a global organisation
