About the role:
Our Technical Service team is seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to support and service repairs on customer hardware and software. The role will be based in Brisbane with opportunities to travel throughout Queensland and support our customers.

As a Field Service Technician, you will be involved in new project installations, customer preventative maintenance programs and prioritised breakdown support. You will be required to accurately troubleshoot equipment issues and provide customer solutions, focusing on equipment maintenance and reliability. In this role you will be the face of insignia, and will offer our customers service that is second to none. You will deliver an excellent customer experience and go the extra mile to deliver customer satisfaction.

You will be required to perform occasional work outside of business hours and have the ability to undertake some travel within the state.

About you:
You are a technically competent individual with good mechanical aptitude, and pride yourself on quality service and building excellent customer relationships.

You will also have:
Ability to work Saturdays as needed

Capacity to travel for work including overnight stays

Excellent Customer-first attitude

Ability to be work autonomously

Excellent communication, presentation, and time management skills

Be able to prioritise tasks to meet both the business and customer’s needs

Well-developed technical problem solving and fault-finding skills

Proven ability to work effectively under pressure

Previous experience in a similar Technician role, with exposure or experience in a Fast-Moving Consumer Goods company

Experience working with printing, labeling and coding equipment (preferred)

Current open motor vehicle license

Electronics or Mechanical trade qualification (highly regarded)
