**A place to make a difference**:
In this part-time, maximum term role (3 days per week for 12 months, with potential for extension), you’ll support families across the region. Based in either Moe, Morwell or Traralgon (and required to travel to all these sites), you’ll report to our Team Leader, Gippsland.
- You will make a difference by: _
- Building family capacity by using partnership, outcomes based, strengths’ perspective and client-centred approaches
- Identifying where additional assistance and external services are required
- Collaborating with team members to deliver programs and support services, promoting positive and culturally respectful approaches to parenting, and child and family wellbeing
- Providing case management, delivering support to vulnerable and disadvantaged families
- Collecting and recording data and information for the purpose of accountability, evaluation, and reporting

- This role requires: _
- Knowledge of child and family issues and a proven understanding of child development stages and influences
- Experience working with CALD and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families
- Proven experience in using trauma informed practice
- Current valid driver’s licence**and willingness to travel in the region
- Strong time management, organisational, and record keeping skills
- Diploma in a relevant field such as Community Services, Social Work, Human Services or Social Sciences (or equivalent qualification) would be desirable
