About the role

We’re currently seeking a Session Leader to join our team at the Ringwood Donor Centre. Reporting to the Donor Centre Manager, you’ll provide operational oversight to ensure that the end-to-end donation experience runs efficiently with no compromise on quality or safety.

As a Session Leader, you’ll provide direction, inspiration and support for your team to achieve common goals and foster team effectiveness, as well as managing tough issues with respect. You’ll value self-awareness and reflect on your own strengths and areas for development, making you an even stronger leader. A day in the centre could see you:
Deliver a supportive and safe experience to our amazing donors

Develop and coach teams

Physically insert and remove needles to collect donations

Act as the first point of contact for any complex donor assessments

Provide clinical oversight to team to ensure phlebotomy success

Show pride in upholding our high safety and quality standards

This is a permanent, part-time position, working 64 hours per fortnight at our Ringwood Donor Centre. As part of employment with us, we have a paid and flexible self-paced training program. This comprehensive program is a balance between on-the-job practice and online class schedules to ensure that you are well supported when starting with us.
