**The role**

This role will be part of our team based at our Jandakot, WA office (Beeliar Nyungar Country). Reporting into the supervisor, you will help service and install fire protection systems on site throughout Perth Metro, WA. The Electrical Technician will be completing installation, servicing, testing and/or programming fire panels, cabling, alarm systems and associated equipment on our clients’ sites.

**You will contribute by**:

- Surveying customer premises and recommend fire protection and safety systems and equipment, in accordance with Chubb Fire & Security procedures and processes.
- Installation, and identify, test, service, and repair fire protection and safety systems and equipment in accordance Chubb Fire & Security procedures and processes.
- Complete and provide evidence of maintenance performed on equipment in an accurate and legible manner, using systems including i-Service handheld technology.
- Comply with all company policies, procedures, and processes.
- Challenging and engaging role, with various tasks including, Inspection and Testing, Do and Charge repair/quoted works, and project installation works.

**You will need the following**:

- Electrical A Grade licence is essential.
- Previous experience in the Fire Protection Industry is essential.
- Unrestricted work rights and current Drivers Licence.
- A construction industry White Card (or the ability to obtain).
- Cable licence and Scissor Lift Licence is preferred (or the ability to obtain).
- Extinguishing Agent Handling Licence (EAHL) is preferred (or ability to obtain).
- A sound knowledge of the applicable Australian Standards relevant to Fixed Systems fire protection equipment.
- FPAS or Certificate II in Fire Protection is preferred or willing to obtain with in house training.
- An appreciation of excellent customer service and the ability to communicate with clients on site.
- Occasional work away at remote sites is required.
- Good time management and organisational skills.
- Can prepare written reports and quotations where required.
- Able to undergo and pre-employment medical and police check.
- Great attitude and willingness to deliver for our customer and client base.
