**Job position available for Propeller Technician**

Family owned and operated marine engineering company on the Gold Coast looking for the next generation of propeller technicians to learn this highly sort after specialised trade.
- _Repair and/or modification of marine propellers made from bronze, stainless steel and aluminium_
- _Utilise computerised measuring equipment to determine repairs/modification required_
- _Operating Hydraulic presses_
- _Welding_
- _Use of air and power tools_
- _Sandblasting_
- _Sanding and polishing metals_
- _Basic house keeping_

**Qualifications & Experience**

To be eligible for this position you should have the following:

- _Drivers license with own reliable transport required_
- _Physically fit and able to lift 25kg +_
- _Read & speak English_
- _Efficient in operating Windows, Microsoft & Google_
- _Ability to perform basic math & measurement functions_

The following is desired but not essential:

- _Forklift licence_
- _Marine industry experience_
- _Metal knowledge_
- _Metal Fabrication_
- _Marine mechanic or mechanically minded_
- _Black smith_
- _Panel beater_

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $25.00 - $45.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Coomera, QLD: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Manual Driver Licence (required)
- Forklift Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
