Telwaters purpose-built factories are based in Coomera, in the Marine Precinct here on the Gold Coast. We are Australia’s largest manufacturer of trailerable boats, and we produce iconic brands such as Quintrex, Stacer, Savage and Yellow Fin.

**About the roles**:
Due to rapid growth, Telwater is searching for the next generation of super stars to join our team in a number of positions across our boat building operations. If you are experienced with labouring, operating hand and power tools, willing to learn new skills and like a variety of activities each day, this could be the job for you

All our positions are full time, permanent working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 6:00am to 2:30pm. All training will be provided.

**Varied duties and roles include**:
Fit Out
- Fitting fuel tanks and skin fittings
- Foaming of boats
- Assemble and secure pipes, tubes, fittings, and related equipment to specification of boat.
- General marine fitting tasks
- Wiring experience desirable

Biminis
- Skilled in working with Canvas, vinyl and PVC materials is an advantage
- Cut and bend bows
- Fit bimini tops to bows and fit to boats.
- Prior experience in operating various types of machines (single needle / twin needle / over lockers)

Pre-paint prep
- Preparing aluminium surfaces for painting including specific duties of sanding, masking and shaping.

Metal prep/ Router
- Cut, label and linish parts from sheets from large boats metal prep coil
- Fabricate and deliver parts for all sections
- Using equipment such as, power tools, hand tools and CNC Router
- General metal prep duties, cross training in other sections where required

**To be considered for these position you must be**:

- Physically fit
- Have your own reliable transport/Australian Driver’s License
- Previous factory/production line experience is an advantage
- Forklift license - desirable
- Marine Industry experience - desirable but not essential
- Have full Australian working rights
- Able to work fulltime hours, 40 hour working week, 6am-2:30pm
- A great team player and willing to learn

**What's on offer**:
Pay rate: These roles pay between $27.56/hr - $29.56/hr working 40 hours per week with overtime available.

Monthly bonuses: $400 monthly attendance bonus and $150 monthly health and safety bonus based on a green site for the whole month across the whole site. (T&Cs apply).

**Salary**: $27.56 - $30.00 per hour
