The hourly rate for the role is $35/hour, with the opportunity to work up to 20 hours across weekends (Thursday, Saturday and Sunday).

**Your Role**

As we are a Canberra based team, we are looking for a driven and reliable brand ambassador to work remotely, sampling and selling our delicious meat snacks in various stores. We are looking to bring on board a new team member in Brisbane.

**We’re Looking For**
- Someone who can work on their feet and maintain a high level of energy
- Someone who enjoys social interactions and is comfortable engaging with strangers
- Someone who is available to work on weekends (Thursday, Saturday and Sunday)
- Someone with flexible travel arrangements (able to transport the equipment used for in-store sampling)
- Someone who is comfortable working remotely
- A positive, persistent and problem-solving approach to customer interactions
- A meat-lover (in particular, loves our biltong) : D

**Tasks and Responsibilities**
- Setting up and packing down an in-store sampling product display before and after each shift
- Pitching our meat snacks to each and every shopper that enters the store
- Providing samples to interested shoppers
- Attempting to convert samplers into first-time purchasers
- Recording sampling and purchase data
- Answering shoppers questions and queries about our meat products (don’t worry, we’ll provide you with all the knowledge and training needed for this)
- Maintenance, transportation and storage of the sampling display and equipment
- And various other small and random tasks

**More About the Role**

The majority of the in-store sampling shifts will take place at Woolworths stores that stock our products. The in-store sampling shifts will take place on the weekends as this is the time when most people do their weekly shopping at Woolworths. Work for this role is available on Thursday evenings (4-hour shifts) and during the day on Saturday and Sundays (8-hour shifts). Therefore, there is the potential to work up to 20 hours per week.

There is no requirement of prior experience as a brand ambassador. We will provide you with all of the in-person and online training needed to skillfully and persistently pitch our meat snacks to prospective shoppers. We all started out with no experience in this line of work, and have now completed many, many hours of successful in-store sampling ourselves - gaining valuable skills of confidence and resilience in the process (and if we can do it, so can you)
