The Role?
The Floor Manager provides essential support to the Venue Manager and the business overall.. You will assist in coordinating the daily operations of the front of house activities and generally making sure that the restaurant is running like a well oiled machine.
What you'll do:
- Supervise the floor to ensure The Grounds standards and steps of service are always met
- Communicate effectively and provide clear direction to staff;
- Interact positively with guests, ensuring that nothing is overlooked
- Be responsible for the opening or closing of the restaurant
Who you are:
- You'll have a minimum of 2 year’s experience in a management or supervisory role with an effective, ‘hands-on’ approach spent predominantly out on the floor assisting front of house staff and guests;
- Experience in all elements and execution of opening and closing a venue/restaurant;
- Customer-focused - passionate about interacting and building rapport with guests;
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining great attention to detail;
- A genuine desire to learn and grow with us;
- Have strong people management and communication skills
- Available to work days, evenings, weekends and public holidays;
- Must hold a current RSA
