**About the role**

Working with our brilliant team at St John's the Baptist Early Learning Centre in Woy Woy, you will have the opportunity to engage with the wider community and be running incredible programs at one of our most popular center's.

The role of the Diploma Qualified Child Care Educator, in the Early Learning Centre (ELC) is to assist the Director/Teacher and the team in providing high quality care and education for children in a community preschool setting for 3-5-year-olds.

This is a permanent full time position.

**Duties**
- Assist the room teacher with the implementation of a well-planned and evaluated program for 3-5-year-olds, using the Early Years Learning Framework.
- Develop a positive and supportive relationship with children.
- Maintain a safe and hygienic environment.
- Work with the team to ensure a compliant centre as per the Education and Care Services National Regulations
- Establish and maintain good relationships with families.
- Work flexible hours to support the 3-5-year Extended Hours Preschool program (your working day would start at 10am) - 8.5 hour day with a monthly RDO.
- Your work will be done with both preschool hours and extended hours programs.

**Requirements**:

- Diploma Qualifications and relevant experience in Early Childhood Education
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Current Asthma and Anaphylaxis
- Completion of Identify & Respond to Children and Young People at Risk (CHCPRT025 or previous equivalent)
- Knowledge of the Education and Care Services National Regulations, National Quality Framework and Child Safe Standards
- Current and valid Working with Children Check clearance.
