Now we are looking for a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager to oversee our three restaurant venues and help us continue to thrive.

The Operations Manager will be responsible for managing the daily operations of three restaurants located in Mudgeeraba, Burleigh Heads and Robina.This role requires a strategic thinker who can manage staff, control costs, and drive sales while ensuring excellent customer service and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
Labor Cost Management:
Monitor and control labor costs by optimizing staff schedules, managing rosters, and ensuring efficient use of labor resources.

Food Cost Management:
Oversee food cost by managing inventory, reducing waste, and negotiating with suppliers to get the best prices.

Wastage Reduction

Implement and monitor procedures to minimize wastage of food, beverages, and other supplies.

Sales Increase

Develop and execute strategies to drive sales growth, including marketing initiatives, promotions, and improving customer service standards. Collaborate with the back-of-house team to adjust supply orders based on customer preferences and seasonal trends.

Staff Hiring:
Lead the recruitment process to hire qualified staff, including job postings, interviews, and onboarding and staff training

Staff Management:
Supervise, train, and develop staff, ensuring they provide excellent customer service and adhere to company policies and procedures.

Staff Development:
Create development plans for key staff members, set up Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for their growth, and regularly review their progress to ensure continuous improvement and career advancement.

Procedures Management:
Develop and implement operational procedures to ensure consistent quality and efficiency across all locations.

Customer Service:
Maintain high standards of customer service and address any issues or complaints promptly and effectively.

Compliance:
Ensure all locations comply with health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and company policies.

Qualifications:
l Proven a minimum 3 years experience as an Operations Manager or similar role in the hospitality.

l Strong understanding of labor cost management, food cost management, and sales strategies.

l Excellent leadership and team management skills.

l Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

l Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

l Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

l Knowledge of specialty coffee,health and safety regulations.

l Proficiency in using POS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
