Plant Operator

Our client is a** **multinational company manufacturing and supplying building and construction materials. They are seeking a Plant Operator for their Maldon Operations.

Your primary responsibilities will be the safe and efficient operation of a heavy mobile equipment operations. You will be reporting the Quarry Supervisor.

**Key duties**:

- Operation of Front-End Loader and other Heavy mobile Equipment Operations; including Excavator, Dump truck (Articulated and Rigid), Road truck, Watercart (AS REQUIRED)
- Basic maintenance and plant housekeeping
- Active participation in problem solving and continuous improvement activities
- Participation in WHS initiatives including pre-starts, toolboxes, and incident reporting

**Skills Required**:

- Experience in Front end Loaders, Rigid Haul truck operations and other plant operations
- HR truck licence is advantageous but not essential as onsite VOC assessment
- Quarry experience highly regarded
- Self-motivated with a strong commitment to safety and quality
- Physical fit
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team with mínimal supervision
- Must be willing to complete a Drug and Alcohol test
