**The position**

We are seeking experienced Support Workers to join our supportive and growing team to work with clients within our organisation across Melbourne.

This position comes with possibility of growth and additional shifts if desired.

Positions to commence ASAP.

We have specific shifts with specific clients that need to be filled so when you apply, you will be approached about specific times and clients.

**Qualifications & Experience**
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience of NDIS with minimum 1 years’ experience
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate (or willing to obtain)
- Victorian Driver's license and vehicle
- NDIS worker Screening Check
- National Police Check (within 12 months or willing to obtain)
- Working with Children Check
- Manual Handling - desired
- Cert in Mental Health
- Cert IV in Disability Support, Individual Support or equivalent
- Be qualified to administer medication
- Experience working with people with complex mental health needs and behaviours of concern

**About you**:

- Excellent verbal, written communication skills, above average computer skills
- Excellent customer service skills and genuine care and attention to our clients and participants.
- Good time management and organisational skills.
- Have passion for what you do
- Be able to work in a team but also work well on your own

**Tasks & responsibilities**
- Work with people who have varying needs with a variety of disabilities
- Flexible work arrangements around peoples’ individual needs, including shift times/days, personal care tasks and manual handling
- You may need to undergo additional training such has manual handling, medication training etc.

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $35.00 - $44.99 per hour

- Sunbury VIC: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- disability support work: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Australian driver's license (preferred)
- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (preferred)
