**This is where you come in**:
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for the effective management of stock and freight movements and implementation of improvements within the warehousing environment. This position is also responsible for the management of warehousing staff to safely, efficiently and effectively conduct warehouse activities, achieving timely and cost effective delivery on time and in full to customers, excellence in customer service ensuring we adhere to our Chain of Responsibility (CoR) obligations while maintaining an accurate stock control through good stock management and Good Manufacturing Practices.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide leadership to warehouse staff and optimise daily activities
- Manage all transport/freight requirements i.e. outbound finished goods movements and correct documentation, inbound Finished Goods, Packaging and CHEP pallets unloading
- Release orders ensuring that all orders have items allocated utilising warehouse management system
- Liaise and coordinate activities with other departments
- Maintain warehouse records and documents and utilize reports to project warehouse status
- Manage truck utilisation and freight cost management. Ensure communication to carriers is accurate and on time
- Work as part of the broader supply chain service team to ensure processes, systems and procedures are constantly assessed and improved
- Provide coaching and leadership to warehouse team to ensure a correct balance of skills and clear growth pathways for their career development
- Perform regular toolbox talks, attend daily Supply Chain review meeting & ensure compliance by training staff in relevant procedures
- Provide and maintain systems of work, and working environments that are safe and without risks to health

**About you**:

- Previous experience as a warehouse manager or a similar management position
- Strong working knowledge of warehouse operations and management.
- Time management skills and the ability to delegate.
- Excellent leadership and organisational skills
- The ability to influence, manage and challenge ideas and existing business processes
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP or Warehouse management systems
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to think on our feet
- Current Forklift License is desirable
- Firm understanding of chain of Responsibility Compliance
