BCD Community Care are looking for **Experienced Support Workers** who are passionate about providing quality care to our clients and currently have multiple opportunities for **Part Time, Full Time **and **Casual** Care Workers to support our clients at home and in the community.

**The Role**

Care Workers have the opportunity to work alongside our clients to assist them to enjoy a full and active life in both the community and their own home.

Key Responsibilities include:

- Personal Care - assisting with showering and all personal care needs
- Community Access - taking clients out to appointments and shopping
- Social Support and Community Engagement
- Respite - allowing families to take a break
- Light Domestic Assistance - meal preparation, light domestic duties

**You Must**:

- **Have Hoist Experience (ESSENTIAL)**:

- Have your own fully comprehensively insured reliable vehicle and Valid Driver's licence as client transport can be part of the role
- Have a valid Driver's Licence (P's accepted)
- Have NDIS Worker Screen Number or Application Number
- Current Working with Children Check for Employment or Application Number
- Cert III or IV in Aged Care, Disability or Individual Support
- Current First Aid Certificate - Current within 3 years
- Current CPR Certificate - Current within 12 months
- Complete the NDIS Worker Orientation Module and NDIS Supporting Effective Communication Module
- Be fully vaccinated as per Public Health Orders
- Broad and flexible availability
- Have excellent communication skills
- Be able to think on your feet
- Have a compassionate personality

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Casual
Part-time hours: 30 per week

**Salary**: From $29.00 per hour
