ABOUT THE ROLE...
Reporting to the Test and Reliability Manager, the Laboratory Technician is responsible for conducting hands on performance testing, functional system integration, and reliability testing of design concepts, current products, and components.

The role requires someone who brings knowledge in HVAC system optimisation, system engineering and advanced troubleshooting. The ability to work with a diverse team of professional engineers and operational personnel is also a requirement.

You will have proven “Hands on” experience in refrigeration equipment setup and prototyping, system installation, refrigerant handling and system performance optimisation and diagnosis. The ability to schedule tasks and appropriately prioritise work is important. Relevant qualifications are essential.

**ABOUT YOU...**
- Trade Qualified Technician with a Certificate III Refrigeration and air-conditioning.
- Understanding of air-conditioning theory and associated components
- Demonstrated capabilities in HVAC system installation, troubleshooting and operation.
- Experience in the support of testing and commissioning of new & upgraded
- Experience working with Engineers to develop, debug and refine HVAC systems.
- Experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance.

**Experience in the following areas is highly regarded**:

- Project management
- HVAC PLC systems logic
- Understanding of Communications protocols, g., Modbus, BACnet, I2C, SPI, MIPI, TCP/IP, RS-485 including using diagnostic tools for system operation and troubleshooting.
