Electrical Engineering Technician

We now have the opportunity for a Electric Engineering Technician to join our dynamic team located at our Motobility Retail Store in Osborne Park. You will have a positive "can-do" attitude and report directly to the Technical Area Manager.

**Job Summary**

**Duties will include**:

- Ensure the department's conformance with the company's service standard, code of conduct and relevant statutory obligations; this applies to all designs and finished products.
- Provide technical assistance and resolution when electrical or engineering problems are encountered; this applies to design and layout of electrical installations and motor control systems.
- Use hand tools and measuring instruments to assemble, install, test, calibrate, modify and repair electrical equipment.
- Collect data and execute systems tests to produce charts, tabulations, drawings, plans and diagrams.
- Review existing electrical engineering criteria to identify necessary revisions, deletions or amendments to outdated material.
- Work with suppliers to estimate materials costs and quantities required for the Electrical Engineers to develop solutions.
- Inspect designs and finished product reviews to ensure compliance to safety regulations and requirements. This includes assembly and installation, testing and calibration, troubleshooting and repair of equipment.
- Have specific knowledge of Platform Lift Systems or Hoist systems and be experienced in fault finding on these systems.
- Have specific knowledge on vertical lift systems. Including installation, design, fault finding and modifications.
- Be familiar with electric scooters, repairs (including fault finding).

**Other**
- Willingness to undergo NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme) New Workers Check
- Willingness to receive annual flu vaccination and other vaccinations as required by the NDIS
- Willingness to do occasional overnight travel (all expenses incl)
