**About the role at Metcash**

As the **Public Relations Manager, ** **(**your primary focus is sharing the stories of over 1,300 independent family-owned businesses across Australia and growing IGAs SOV through earnt media coverage. As a member of the Marketing team, you will help drive earnt media coverage and create engaging content that demonstrates IGA’s brand purpose and points of difference, with the goal of encouraging people to choose to shop at IGA because of the meaningful difference IGA retailers play in local communities across the country.

**Responsibilities**
- External Communications Development - Create, edit, and distribute content across a range of platforms that engage and inform a target audience
- Communications Strategy - Plan and execute the communications strategy that align with the goals of the company
- Internal Stakeholder Management - Collaborate closely with leaders and internal teams to ensure messages align with business goals
