Accounts Payable Officer

Accounts Payable Officer required by a State Government client based in Perth CBD.
**Your new company**
We have partnered with a government department client to assist in their search for an Accounts Payable Officer. It is a busy team, therefore previous experience in an AP role is essential. The office is based in Perth CBD with access to public transport. This role requires you to be willing to undergo department standard background screening checks, including a national police check and a possible need for an international police check.
**Your new role**
As an Accounts Payable Officer, your responsibilities will include:
- Invoice processing and uploading into system
- Prepare invoices for payment
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders
- Reconciliation of invoices
- Managing invoice mailbox
- Data entry
**What you'll need to succeed**
Previous experience as an Accounts Payable Officer is essential, as is:
- Ability to process high volumes of invoices (70+ per day)
- Reconciliations
- Administrative and data entry skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to undergo security screening checks (that may take up to 4 weeks to be processed)
