**About the Role**

At Ingenia Rentals - Brisbane North, we believe in creating communities that feel like home. We are currently seeking a Grounds & Maintenance Supervisor to lead our maintenance team and uphold the quality and presentation of our community's grounds and shared spaces.

This hands-on leadership role offers accommodation at a subsidised rate and the chance to be part of a supportive, values-driven team. You’ll play a key role in delivering a high standard of service while maintaining and improving the grounds, amenities, and infrastructure for our residents.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Maintain all public open space areas as per the site plan to a high standard.
- Lead and mentor the Grounds & Maintenance team, ensuring work is completed to a high standard.
- Upkeep garden beds and landscaped areas - including pruning, weeding, fertilising, mulching, hedging, and replanting.
- Perform general maintenance and repairs across resident and guest accommodation.
- Regularly inspect public spaces and address any repair needs.
- Oversee site grounds and maintenance budgets; raise concerns about financial constraints as needed.
- Respond to resident maintenance queries and coordinate with external trades when necessary.
- Ensure tools and equipment are serviced, repaired, and tracked in a maintenance register.
- Maintain cleanliness of the community, including emptying bins and maintaining the pool area (if applicable).
- Model respectful and professional behaviour towards residents, guests, and colleagues.
- Availability for overnight and weekend shifts.

**About You**
- Previous experience in a grounds or maintenance role, ideally in a supervisory capacity.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to guide a small team.
- Full ‘C’ class driver’s licence.
- Strong time management, attention to detail, and customer service focus.
- Comfortable working weekends and overnight shifts as required.
- Team player with a proactive and hands-on approach.
