**About the Opportunity**
An exciting opportunity exists for a Judicial Support Officer to join the South Australian Employment Tribunal (SAET). The position can be filled in a full-time or part-time capacity. The Judicial Support Officer’s responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Working between different jurisdictions, case management systems and chambers whilst ensuring consistency and procedural correctness
- Adapting quickly to changing and emerging priorities
- Ensure prompt listing of events, updating and uploading of case related documentation in the case management system
- Prepare orders, correspondence and other relevant documentation as required
- Manage the preparation of hearings/conferences and provide in court support to call and affirm witnesses and manage evidence and exhibits
- Type, format, edit and proof decisions by checking citations, quotes and references prior to publication

The SAET is South Australia's forum for resolving workplace related disputes and issues including:
- Resolving work related injury disputes (Return to Work)
- Resolving employment and industrial disputes
- Hearing work, health and safety-related prosecutions
- Regulating industrial awards, agreements and register

**Special Conditions for Employment**
Employment is dependent upon a National Police Certificate clearance that the AGD finds satisfactory. Successful applicants will be provided further information if an interview is requested. Forms are not to be lodged directly with SA Police (SAPOL) under any circumstances and any fees incurred by applicants in doing so will not be recoverable from the AGD.
Some out of hours work may be required.
