**ROLE DETAILS**

**Start Date**:
***September 1st (slightly flexible)

**Location**: Richmond, VIC

**Days**:2-3 days per week (you choose which weekdays)

**Hours**: 8am-4pm (slightly flexible)

**Child**: 5 month old

**Pay rate**: $34-37 per hour + Super + paid leave (after an initial probationary period of casual employment).

**ROLE REQUIREMENTS**:

- Valid Working With Children Check
- Valid First Aid and CPR
- Own car (preferable)
- Fully Vaccinated (including Covid-19 and Whooping Cough)
- At least 2 years of experience with babies
- 2 outstanding references we can contact.

**ROLE DESCRIPTION**
This family of 3 is seeking a Nanager to support their household and family. They are keen to employ someone to work 2, 2.5, or 3 days per week and are open to discussing the schedule to work with the right person. The role will involve working alongside parents and also independently to help them balance home admin and meeting their infant's needs while they work.

The family is seeking a Nanager who, in addition to being able to provide excellent childcare for their infant:

- is a confident cook and can prepare family meals and baby food (the parents love to cook but don't always have the time during the week)
- will support with household laundry and basic tidying
- is happy to run errands, using their own car if required (mileage will be reimbursed).

The baby's needs and safety will be the top priority when she is in your care. The 5 month old has a reasonably predictable but flexible rhythm to her days and the parents are keen to continue a child-led and informed approach. They would love to involve an experienced nanny in their learning and discussions about her care, while wanting their Nanager to respect and support their parenting decisions.

**ABOUT YOU**
The right person for this position will be flexible to support the parents with days that involve a mix of childcare, household tasks, and errands. Being comfortable working with the parents around is important - they consider themselves pretty easy-going and are seeking the same in a Nanager. The family would love to employ someone who can speak another language in addition to English. They have a multi-cultural background and would love to foster a love of language and other cultures in their home.

Once a schedule of hours is agreed with the family, you will be punctual and reliable to provide consistency for the family. It would be wonderful if you have studied early childhood (either formal qualifications or professional development courses) and take an interest in child development. A love of cooking will also be ideal
