Are you an experienced Dental Assistant with a passion for patient care and a knack for administrative excellence? We’re looking for a dedicated professional to join our team as a Dental Assistant and Receptionist. This role offers a unique opportunity to blend your clinical expertise with front desk responsibilities in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Patient facing positions are where you shine in being able to display your professionalism, problem solving attitude and nurturing positive relationships with our patient base, whilst also being able to work efficiently under pressure.

You take extreme pride in infection control, patient confidentiality and care. Your meticulous approach will help maintain a clean and safe environment. You appreciate and understand the importance of following protocols and standard operating procedures so that your workflow is efficient and repeatable by colleagues. You’re able to understand the “bigger picture” in the running of a boutique dental surgery and the flow on effects of the multifaceted requirements in this role (dental assisting, reception, sterilisation).

Once trained, you will be able to tackle daily challenges by resolving patient concerns, navigating insurance issues, and ensuring smooth communication between patients and dental staff; with measurable success being reviewed regularly. Experience and results in maintaining a clean and organized workspace will also be looked upon favorably. You have a commitment to continuous improvement and professional development, with a record of learning and growth.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Dental Assistant with a strong focus on patient care and administrative skills.
- Availability every Saturday morning (8:15 AM - 1:15 PM) is essential; flexibility for additional weekdays is preferred. Casual or Part time work will be considered. We are closed over long weekends so that our team members can enjoy their long weekends too.

**About Us**:
We are a newly renovated clinic, set in the ambiance of a traditional Victorian style bungalow home, and even with modern and state of the art dental equipment, it has still maintained its old world charm. We are located on a quiet residential street with **lots of free parking and walking distance to public transport. **Our practice does not have any preferred provider agreements, so we work only for our patients and no other third parties. Like any other industry, and dentistry is no different, we take the time to onboard you with our flow and equipment (including our Jura coffee machine).

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $230.00 - $300.00 per day

Expected hours: 5.5 - 20 per week
