What are we looking for?
Come and join our fast growing Medical Law team in the Sydney office We are now seeking a talented and professional Legal Assistant on a full time basis.
- You will work closely with accredited specialist in their field. Your positive approach to work will be driven by your willingness to achieve successful outcomes. Your responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):
- Liaising with medical professionals and other lawyers;
- Communicating with clients on a daily basis with sensitivity and empathy;
- Extensive diary management;
- Generating & editing correspondence;
- Preparing briefs to counsel;
- Producing and filing various court documents;
- Generating reports;
- All other administrative tasks.
What will you bring?
To secure this opportunity, you will have:
- Previous experience as a legal assistant, personal assistant or legal secretary supporting a personal injury law team
- Exceptional communication and customer service
- An ability to deal sensitively with clients and show empathy when required
- Excellent attention to detail
- Demonstrated organisational skills and the ability to multi-task
- Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team environment
- Ability to exercise judgement and resolve problems
