This is an entry level position with an opportunity to be part of something bigger.

As a Kitchen Hand / Kitchen Steward, you will work as part of a team to keep the hotel kitchens and washing up areas clean and tidy, with great opportunity to learn and expand your skills.

**What you will be doing**:

- Assisting with basic food preparation duties with opportunities to learn
- Responsible for the cleanliness and sanitising of all surfaces
- Keeping floors and work areas clear of hazards and obstruction
- Responsible operation of kitchen cleaning equipment.

**Qualifications** Your experience and skills include**:

- Organized, safe-minded and a great team player
- Passionate about maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene (Basic Food Safety Certificate under Australian standards is an advantage)
