Due to an internal transfer, the opportunity has arisen for a **Venue Manager **to join us and oversee our Perth event venue - which is perfectly placed for our corporate and government clientele in the heart of the CBD.

**About the Role**

As the Venue Manager, you will have full ownership of all delivery and operational aspects of the venues. Our business is diverse and tailored to our clients - from corporate training, planning days, teambuilding and conferences, to exams and corporate cocktail parties.

On a day-to-day level, you will be responsible for:

- Overall operational management of the venues, including presentation and maintaining service delivery KPI’s
- Team management including recruitment, rostering, on-the-job training, accountability and performance (with support provided from HR)
- Pre-empting client needs to deliver outstanding customer service and professionally managing queries, feedback and resolution process
- Venue budget management and expense tracking
- Process management and ongoing improvement - openly sharing ideas with counterparts across our network
- Liaising with building management

While the position is predominantly business hours Monday to Friday, some after-hours availability is required depending on the needs of our clients.

**About You**

In addition, you will:

- Be an effective people manager, able to engage, motivate and manage a small, diverse team
- Be able to demonstrate cost control and labour management experience
- Be highly organised and methodical to successfully manage multiple events or clients simultaneously
- Be adaptive and thrive in a fast-paced and busy professional environment
- Demonstrate outstanding customer service
- Have the ability to confidently identify issues and quickly find the most appropriate customer centric solution
- Be self-motivated with excellent communication skills
- Be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or have a valid medical exemption

It’s a bonus if you have:

- A basic understanding of audio-visual technologies.
- Qualifications in Event Management, Hospitality Management or Business
