**About the Assignment**

Provide operational financial information and analysis to the Finance Manager - Asset Reporting and their direct reports. Work with the other members of the team to provide with operational financial information and analysis for all operational areas, ensuring analysis for all areas provides a clear understanding of:

- Business financial performance
- the financial impacts of key business decisions
- individual cost drivers

Tasks include:

- Provide business partnering and decision-making support
- Produce and review monthly reporting packs for/with key stakeholders (using standard reports produced by Financial Services)
- Provide key stakeholders with analysis, insight and commentary in relation to business performance, including performance against targets and trends, key business drivers and performance metrics
- Prepare budgets, quarterly forecasts, and latest estimates for areas supported
- Perform month-end accounting including preparation of journals for posting by Financial Services, review of results and completion of appropriate integrity checks prior to ledger close
- Provide support to responses to audit queries
- Contribute to half-year and year-end reporting requirements to Group Finance
- Support projects focused on improvement to decision making processes and systems
- Provide ad-hoc analysis to support decision making as required
- Support half-yearly restoration, DD&A and impairment reviews

**About You**

Ideally you will demonstrate:

- Experience in financial analysis or related roles, preferably within the energy industry or a similar sector
- High level experience in SAP
- Advanced analytical skills in MS Excel
- The ability to communicate financial concepts to non-finance professionals

**Mandatory Tickets / Quals / Certs**
- Professional certification (CA, CPA)
- Tertiary Degree in Accounting, Commerce, or an equivalent field.
