- The 3 South Perth social centres and Respite Cottage aim to support club members to interact with others in a comfortable home environment to support both the person attending and the family to take a break away from home. Our centres are designed to promote healthy aging, prevent social isolation and support a person to grow their interests, hobbies and maintain social connections in a relaxed and informal home setting.
- Care Workers engage in a variety of activities including but not limited to:
**Personal Care, Meal preparation, Group activities along with driving our commuter bus during excursions**.
- To assist our wonderful club members, we are looking for Care Worker on a perm part-time basis. You should be available for a minimum 10 days over a fortnightly roster including weekends and sleepover shifts, Day shifts are typically rostered between
**8am to 4pm, weekends 8.45am to 5.15pm and sleep shifts 4pm to 9am the following day with a sleepover between 10pm and 6am**

**About You**
- Certificate 3 in Individual Support or equivalent (essential)or
- Cert III in Allied Health Assistance or working towards
- Have experience working in the community
- Current full Australian driver’s license
- Registered Vehicle, suitable for work purposes
- Pass a medical appraisal (known as FCT)

- Hourly rate of** $28.05p/h **plus 10% Super
- Salary packaging, up-to $18,550 per year

Based on Silver Chain Group Policy and State Government Directions, you will be required to provide evidence of your COVID-19 vaccinations, including booster requirements, or evidence of a medical exemption, to be considered for employment with Silver Chain.

Essential: must be able to drive a Toyota commuter van to transport club members

Essential: must have a registered reliable vehicle and a full driving license

Essential: must have cert 3 in individual support or equivalent as sleep over shifts are included in this position
