Port Of Brisbane, Australia Tough Yakka Full time

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Steel Forklift Operators for work located in the Port of Brisbane. The primary role will be handling of steel products, internal and external of the warehouse. Day and afternoon shifts available. Casual and full-time opportunities available.

**Essentials**
- Forklift experience for forklift trucks up to 5-tonne machines.
- Handling of steel products internal and external of the warehouse.
- Must have a minimum of 2-3 years of steel handling/ ugly freight handling experience.
- Experience in handling long/ oversized products (bulk freight/ length freight).
- Valid Forklift licence (LF) and own transport.
- Load and unload import shipping containers, trucks/trailers, picking orders.
- Stock identification and reconciliation.
- Knowledge of load restraint guidelines.
- Competent knowledge and execution of Maths and English.
- A desire to be safe and follow OH&S guidelines.
- Can work within a team environment.
- Day and afternoon shift starts available.
- Must be willing to do D&A tests.

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $31.09 - $32.91 per hour

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Day shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

**Experience**:

- Forklift: 5 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Full Driver Licence (preferred)
- LF license (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
