The role

The Head of Physical Education is a dynamic leadership role responsible for overseeing and enhancing the physical education curriculum and programs across all grade levels. This position involves leading a team of teachers to promote a culture of active living, foster student engagement, and ensure the development of comprehensive and inclusive physical education initiatives to promote lifelong wellness among students.

The responsibility allowance for this position is 14 periods per cycle and $10,612.

Some of your primary duties and responsibilities will include the following:

- Developing the scope and sequence and course documentation in the Department
- Contributing to strategic discussions around the College’s teaching and learning priorities as a member of the Learning and Curriculum Group
- Preparing and administering the department budget to ensure resources for student learning are appropriate and relevant
