**About the Role**

This role is responsible for providing detailed analysis to ensure continuous improvement in Capral's Supply Chain performance. This role will also provide statistical modelling of supply channels, supplier selection, and optimisation costs related to strategic procurement and inventory decisions.

**PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES**
- Inventory analysis.
- Facilitation of periodic reviews with internal customers.
- Modification and maintenance of forecasts.
- Periodic reviews and comparisons on pricing from suppliers
- Management of slow and poor performing inventory.
- Analysis and support to improvement projects including but not limited to total cost of ownership, cost to serve, labour efficiencies, and warehouse relocations.
- Maintenance of inventory master data records.
- Management of new product projects.
- Identification of products to be ordered from overseas suppliers.

**SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE**

**ESSENTIAL**
- Experience in logistics, inventory management, purchasing, or a related discipline with strong administrative skills.
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills (Excel, database management, MS Word) with strength in data interpretation.
- Knowledge of SAP is desirable but not essential.
- Well-developed analytical and problem solving-skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Team orientated with an exceptional attitude to safety.
- Exceptional communication and time management skills.
