**Public Sector People (PSP)** are currently seeking a Service Desk Team Leader who would be interested in a 9 month contract to join an large and well-known NSW Government organisation.
- _Immediate State_
- _Western Sydney location_
- _9 month contract_
- _$59.37 p/h + Super_
- _35 hrs per week Monday - Friday_
- _Experience in a Team leader or a Senior/2IC Service Desk position_
- This role is to be responsible to lead the operations of the service desk team, Level 1 & 2 support._

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Oversee the delivery of Level 1 and 2 IT technical support by the Service Desk officer team
- Be the escalation point for all user support issues
- Produce and manage reporting on performance, KPI's and the operation of the team
- Ensure Service Desk coverage during agreed hours of operation
- Provide IT and Desktop Support to all sites
- Provide direction in the execution of the Service Desk Officer duties
- Ensure ITSM system is administered, utilised and maintained
- Provide after-hours support
- Manage, maintain and deliver documentation relevant to the Service Desk processes and operations,
- including work instructions and procedures
- Contribute to the development, planning and delivery of new systems and services
- Liaise with and coordinate with vendors for purchasing, repairs and maintenance
- Undertake Service Desk projects such as software solution design and implementation, desktop hardware and software deployments
- Other duties as directed consistent with the operations with the business or by manager

**About you**:

- Tertiary qualification in a related field and/or relevant experience in a similar role.
- Minimum 3yrs experience in a Team leader or in a 2IC position
- Demonstrate Strong leadership skills
- Government experience beneficial but not required
- Ability to adapt to a face paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail
- Must have Class C drivers licence
- Must be fully vaccinated
