**About the role**
We are now searching for an experienced operator for the role of Fleet Support. This is a permanent part-time position with a maximum of 30 hours per week. Reporting to the Group Fleet & Purchasing Team Lead, your primary responsibility will be to assist the Buildsafe Group with the management and day-to-day maintenance activities of the National Buildsafe fleet (trucks, utes, forklifts, and sweepers). You will join our expanding team in Victoria working from the head office, however at times we require you to be flexible with visiting our various local branches.
This is an administration forward role and core duties include:
- Liaise with repairers, dealers, suppliers and other providers of equipment, parts, consumables and services relevant to the Buildsafe Fleet
- Supporting the Group Fleet Controller & Fleet Coordinator with all fleet-related tasks and preparing or maintaining of records for use, acquisition, policies and procedures, disposal etc of fleet.
- Assist the Facilities & Insurance Coordinator with the provision of fleet-related insurance documentation
- Attend to vehicle related enquiries from the purchasing team
- Assist the finance team with bill enquiries, registration enquiries or cost queries and end of month procedures
**About you**
To be successful in this role you possess strong administration and organisation skills, with key strengths in Microsoft Excel.
Other skills and experience to aid with your success include:
- Experience with Dealership/Fleet/Logistics or motor vehicle parts is highly regarded
- Vehicle mechanical knowledge would be an advantage but not essential.
- MR / HR truck licence would be an advantage but not essential.
- Strong communication skills and business acumen to compliment your stakeholder engagement skills
- Exceptional organisation and time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure to meet high demand periods and strict deadlines
- Flexible and adaptable attitude to help cope with a fast-paced, ever changing business
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy without compromising a timely delivery
- A willingness to learn new skills and engage in feedback during progress/mentoring sessions
