Forklift Technician

**Job Summary**:
Maintain our hire fleet and service customer machines, while assisting in the daily operations of our workshop.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the inspection, maintenance, and repair of material handling equipment and machinery.
- Learn to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues under the supervision of experienced technicians.
- Perform routine servicing and preventive maintenance tasks on the hire fleet.
- Document repairs and maintenance work accurately for company records.

**Additional Responsibilities**:

- Support the workshop team in maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Participate in training sessions to improve technical skills and product knowledge.
- Help in managing tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good condition.

**Reporting Structure**:
Report to the relevant Branch Manager/ Operations Manager.

**Collaboration**:

- Work closely with the Workshop Coordinator, Workshop Manager, and Technicians to gain knowledge and assist with tasks.

This position is flexible with days and times. Currently seeking a person who can work at a minimum of 20 hours per week with an ability to increase as teh servicing component grows. Our business operates Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week

**Experience**:

- Forklift: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Forklift Licence (preferred)
- Driver Licence (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
