**About The After School Klub (TASK)**
TASK is a home-grown, completely independent Australian provider of OSHC services. Two mums started TASK as a small homework club at their local public school in Sydney’s Inner West in 2013. The goal was to support families struggling to find quality care for their school aged children. TASK has grown to have services in over 35 locations across NSW (including Sydney and surrounds, Newcastle, Central Coast, Tweed Heads and Wagga Wagga). We are innovative, supportive and passionate about providing safe, fun and interesting activities for children in our care.
We are continuing to grow and require an experienced Payroll Officer to join our team in TASK Central based in Petersham.

**Responsibilities include**:
- Tracking and managing THE AFTER SCHOOL KLUB's payroll data and employee work hours, tax calculations, deductions, preparing monthly, quarterly and end of Financial year statements.
- Responding to employees questions about wages and deductions.
- Process fortnightly payrolls within the required time frame.
- Create and maintain employee files.
- Prepare and lodge superannuation choice fund forms to the ATO.
- Prepare and lodge Tax File Number forms to the ATO
- Calculate termination benefits.
- Prepare payroll reports
- Ensure the ATO and superannuation payments are paid within the required time frame.
- Process end of financial year payroll, including the balancing of payments summaries through STP.
- Other duties as directed by the finance Manager.
**What do you need?**
- Experience in payroll.
- Experience in interpreting Awards and Agreements.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Intermediate skills in Excel.
- Experience in payroll software (MYOB).
- Ability to handle confidential information.
- Ability to prepare and present payroll reports.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Valid working rights to work in Australia
**We are offering**
- Full time permanent hours
- $30-$40 per hour depending on experience
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
