We are seeking a suitably experienced Technical QA Specialist to join our team on a contract basis. This role is ideal for someone with a background in oil & gas or defense, with specific expertise in weld traceability and a mechanical focus.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Support shutdown teams with commissioning and QA documentation.
- Ensure compliance with Australian standards related to weld traceability and other mechanical QA requirements.
- Collaborate closely with engineering and operations teams to maintain quality standards throughout the shutdown process.
- Maintain accurate records using SAP and perform document control duties.
- Utilise Microsoft systems to track, report, and manage QA-related tasks.

**Skills & Experience**:

- Minimum 3 years’ experience in quality assurance, preferably within the oil & gas or defense sectors.
- Strong mechanical background with proven experience in weld traceability and Australian standards related to QA.
- A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- Proficiency with SAP and document control systems is essential.
- Experience in working within shutdown environments, with a focus on supporting commissioning and QA documentation processes.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
