Fitness Centre Manager

Crossfit Ulladulla and Southern Martial Arts have joined forces to create a new and unique experience for Ulladulla / Milton and Southern Shoalhaven residents. We have launched a new revolutionary fitness model Zone 7, called The Movement Zone Ulladulla, which is a new fitness centre designed for people of all ages and all fitness levels. As such, we are looking for a qualified and experienced CrossFit Coach to join our team and fitness community

Position description Fitness Centre Manager & CrossFit Coach:

- Develop CrossFit training programs - “Workout of the Day” (WOD) - that promote physical fitness, strength, and endurance; maintain continual improvement of the Group Training Program, Kids Program, Personal Training, and Nutrition Programs.
- Work with other coaches and staff to ensure programs capture the diverse range of abilities and age groups at Crossfit Ulladulla
- Running CrossFit training, or specialty classes, ranging from 2 - 20 people, per week
- Promote quality performance and monitor daily improvements from our athletes with varying degrees of ability
- Demonstrating proper form and appropriate technique for weightlifting, gymnastics, and functional training movements
- Ensure classes are run safely, and effectively, to prevent any unnecessary injuries
- Supervise Crossfit coaches and other centre staff and ensure WHS practices are observed
- Train other Crossfit coaches to ensure consistency of training programs are delivered at the highest standard
- Manage the marketing of Crossfit Ulladulla on social media platforms, including Facebook and Instagram
- Develop promotional membership packages to attract new members and increase membership retention; maintain registration of new members and member retention
- Organise internal ‘CrossFit Games’ to encourage member/community participation and foster friendly competition
- Always promote community engagement and family atmosphere at Southern Fitness and Martial Arts Centre Ulladulla
- Maintain cleanliness and quality of gym equipment and facilities in line with COVID-safe procedures and practices
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures

To be successful in this role, you will need:

- Level 2 CrossFit Certification
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a CrossFit Coach
- Full work rights in Australia
- Strong problem-solving skills to face unexpected challenges that arises
- Good communication skills when working with other coaches and members of the community

**Job Type**: Permanent Full-Time

Remuneration:

- Annual $55,000 + 10% superannuation
