**Your new role**

This position is required to work under limited direction in the design and coordination of programs, provision of service, case management, and consultative support to clients, families and other professionals to facilitate inclusion of the Autistic community and people with a disability, within a variety of settings across Autism SA’s Day Options, Community Access and Lifestyle programs.

**Key responsibilities include but are not limited to**:

- Design, develop and deliver person centred day options programs which incorporate clients’ individual goals, interests, and abilities in collaboration with clients and their stakeholders where appropriate.
- Design, develop and deliver person centred group programs aimed to support autistic individuals to build their capacity in areas such as employment, social skills, skill building and community access.
- Assist participants to address identified unexpected behaviour/expected behaviour and help them develop the skills and knowledge to be successful in their future ventures.
- Ensure implementation of strategies outlined in behavioural assessments and positive behaviour support plan(s)
- Coordinate a team of support workers to deliver high-quality support services for ASA STA clients which support NDIS goal outcomes.
- Ensure that the programs have adequate resources to support the client to reach their NDIS/personal goals.
- Work with ASA internal business partners to ensure staff coverage in the STA and Individual Contract programs.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Behavioural Science / Degree in Developmental Education (or a Degree in a relevant NDIS nominated profession for Therapeutic supports) or sufficient relevant experience to support NDIS approval for the delivery of Therapeutic supports
- Cert IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent (desirable)
- Substantial experience in working directly with people on the Autism Spectrum
- Substantial experience in facilitation of group programs
- Substantial experience in working collaboratively with families and service providers
- DHS Working With Children Check;
- NDIS Worker Screening Check;
- National Police Check (NPC); and
- All mandated COVID-19 vaccinations
