**About the role**

As a Home Support Worker you are the Regis representative in the homes of a variety of clients across Melbourne. We are looking for a number of Home Support Workers who are based in or willing to travel in the area of the City of Whitehouse local government. Currently our clients are based in a 10km radius from our office.

A variety of shifts are available, predominantly in the mornings and early afternoons. Availability on weekends and public holidays is advantageous but not essential.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide services to the client in their home as outlined in the Care Plan, and regularly review the Care Plan to ensure you have an up to date understanding of particular client circumstances, needs and services.
- You will monitor the client and their environment and report any issues, needs, changes or suggestions to your Client Services Manager

**Your duties will differ according to the needs of the client, however may include**:

- Personal care - showering, oral care, continence management
- Food preparation - preparing meals, monitoring foods and fluids
- Social support - escorting the client on outings such as shopping trips, coffee/lunch excursions, visits
- Transport - for the client to doctors’ appointments, to/from hospital, to/from respite care etc.

**Skills, Experience & Requirements**
- Qualified with a Certificate III in Community Care, Individual Support or Aged Care
- Previous experience in a PCA or Home Care Support Worker role
- First Aid / CPR Qualifications
- A current drivers licence with clear driving record;
- Own vehicle; roadworthy with comprehensive insurance;
