**About the role**

We are currently recruiting for multiple Construction Supervisors (Non Routine Construction). These roles will see you providing supervision and site management for construction projects on both internal and external third-party sites. The nature of the works may require out of hours work, travel and some living away from home will be required. Work will be located around Sydney, Canberra and Newcastle.

**Your responsibilities will include**
- Supervising and managing daily activities of nominated projects and work sites ensuring Jemena/Zinfra interests and assets are protected
- Providing supervision, mentoring and management of staff and contractors on site during the construction phase of projects
- Ensuring compliance to Principle Contractor requirements on site when on a Zinfra internal project
- Providing assistance with accurate estimation of costs, materials and services
- Providing all required records, daily diaries, variation notices and technical queries to the project management team
- Providing expert construction advice to colleagues, staff and third parties for both business as usual activities and emergency situations
- Assisting with constructability assessments, optimisation of designs and estimation for construction projects
- Assisting the project team with long term planning, scheduling of work and resources to optimise efficiency of construction delivery
- Liaising with various internal/external stakeholders, government authorities, contractors and members of the public
- Assisting with Environmental and Safety Management during site construction works
- Carry out/organise Jemena/Zinfra PTW as required

**About you**
- 3+ years of experience in the construction industry including;
- Supervision and implementation of construction projects in Gas or related industries (highly regarded)
- Experience dealing with construction and or maintenance of Gas networks. Steel Pipelines to AS 2885 or AS4645 would be an advantage
- Demonstrated experience dealing with Community Liaison, Government and stakeholder issues
- The ability to supervise contractors and multiple work faces
- Knowledge of industry quality standards such as AS2885 and AS4645
- Proficient in Progress Reporting methods and techniques for reporting of both Project and Quality related information
- Proficient with MS Word, MS Excel, MS Project would be an advantage

**Please note **you must possess a current Australian Driver’s Licence and White Card, as travel between sites will be required.
